BINA LA held their first and very successful event, in collaboration with the ILC, to a sold out crowd of 125 people at The Mark on Wednesday, August 25th. BINA. Ideas. Connected. eis a fast-paced, thought-provoking evening where different Jewish young professionals in the community inspire their fellow cohorts with new ideas, discuss the amazing things they do and push their audience to look at things differently. Before taking their seats for the program, guests mingled and while enjoying wine, sushi, and cheese.
The program, hosted by Daniel Housman, included five special presenters who each took 7 minutes to present on their expert topic, following with a question and answer session with the audience. Presenters included Rae Gross who’s topic touched on “Stalking is Caring” and the use of social media; Sara Lederer presented on “How to Connect with Your Soul”; Tomer Benito on “Imagination and Homeland Security”; Oded Aharonson on “Titan: a World Strange and Familiar”; and Sasha Strauss who gave the audience “$100,000 of Brand Strategy Advice”. After an intense lecture series by 5 young professionals, guests enjoyed a special performance by Yafit Josephson of her one woman show “New Eyes.”
