Tzofim Shevet Chen and Shevet Harel enjoy their last activity

The Israeli Scouts concluded their year with a summer camp held at Camp Emerald Bay in Catalina Island sponsored by the ILC. All together, 126 participants attended the weekend; 94 from Shevet Chen and 32 from Shevet Harel, an impressive number for Shevet Harel. Participants enjoyed an incredible weekend of kayaking, snorkeling, archery, bb-gun range shooting, hiking, and activities planned especially by the counselors. This was the first camp where participants slept in tents rather than cabins, receiving a true Scout experience. Tzofim counselors and directors are constantly receiving positive feedback from all participants and are very pleased with the successful turnout.

The ILC was happy to contribute to making this unique activity possible for children who otherwise would not have been able to attend.
