
BINA LA, in partnership with the ILC, hold special events in honor of Yom Ha'Zikaron, Yom Ha'atzmaout, and Lag Ba'Omer

YOM HA’ZIKARON -
DC-LA held the First Young Professional Annual Yom Ha’Zikaron ceremony in Los Angeles. More than 300 young professionals came together to honor Israel’s fallen brothers and sisters at the Museum of Tolerance. Many significant local Jewish Young Leadership groups supported Dor Chadash’s initiative including Birthright Israel NEXT, 30 Years After, StandWithUs, Magen David Adom, AJC Acces and FIDF. During the event, Dor Chadash members who served at the IDF shared personal stories of losing friends in action. The event was sponsored by the ILC and ticket sales went to benefit the Non-Profit Organization for Emotional Support of Girlfriends (Fiancées) of Fallen Soldiers of the IDF.
YOM HA’ATZMAUT -
To celebrate Israel’s 62nd, Dor Chadash held a party at the private residence of ILC Executive Director, Shoham Nicolet. Over 150 attended the event and enjoyed authentic Israeli food and music in a very successful event.
LAG BA’OMER -
Dor Chadash celebrated Lag Ba’Omer Israeli style around a bonfire at Dockweiler beach on Sunday, May 2nd. Over 250 people attended throughout the night and enjoyed a night of singing, food, a drum circle, and guitar playing.
